2024 Olds Fashioned Christmas

OLDS FASHIONED CHRISTMAS ANNUAL SOCIAL CALENDAR OF EVENTS 

Thank you to all who submitted events for the 2024 Olds Fashioned Christmas Calendar of Events. We are planning to have the calendar finalized and distributed with the October 29th edition of The Albertan newspaper

On September 25th at the Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre the olds & District Chamber of Commerce annoounced the 2024 Small Business Award nominees at the very successful and well attended Business Beer & Blue Jeans event. Congratulations to the following award nominees:

Small Business of the Year: Dunrite Printing; the Olds Central Highlands Golf Course; Sims Furniture; Mountain View Flooring; Olds Uptowne Market

Best New Business: Aurora Golf; Feather Dental hygiene Studio

President's Award: Canadian Tire (Mike Tomey)

Innovation Award: Emprise Canada

Youth Employee of the Year: Hunter McDonald; Wyatt McDonald; Grace Williamson (all were employees at the Olds Central HIghlands Golf Course)

Community Spirit: Custom Homes (Brian Gardner - building Kirsten's Place Emergency Shelter)

People's Choice: Dunrite Printing; Aurora Golf; Olds Community Pharmacy; No Frills

Small Business Week Launch

Thank you to all who attended the Olds & District Chamber of Commerce Small Business week launch breakfast event at Chef David's Cacio e Pepe Italian Bistro. Our featured speakers included Mayor Judy Dahl; CAO Brent Williams and Economic Development Advisor Michelle McFadden.

Small Business Awards Gala

Date: October 24, 2024 at the Royal Canadian Legion - Olds

Join us as the Olds & District Chamber of Commerce celebrates this year's Small Business Award nominees. Tickets are $50.00 per person. Event will begin at 5:00pm with cocktails and networking, followed by dinner @ 6:00pm and awards ceremony and presentation.

Golf Tournament

Olds & District Chamber of Commerce 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

A very successful and enjoyable afternoon of Golf on Wednesday August 21, 2024. Thank you to the forty golfers for supporting our tournament; after a brief 2-hole rainy start, it was a perfect evening for golf and the golf course was in great shape.
